and this is not on the pen.

what everyone feared the most actually held up their end.

It goes back to the same shyt and Boone just never wanted to fix anything. He'd rather lose the game than make his friends unhappy.

Mister 20+ strikeout MVP is out here playing like he has teammates like the Liberty who can bail his ass out.

All of these regular season homers, milestones and endless glazing don’t mean shīt outside of selling merch.

That’s one of the worst parts of this postseason. Judge has definitively ruined his legacy this October. The team carried him through the first two round with him playing like shyt and he managed to get even worse in the World Series. He cost them the title more than anyone. Shameful they named this guy captain. He’s left at least ten men on base the last 3 games. That’s the margin right there. Can’t call him anything but a choke artist now :francis:

Maybe little kids will forgive him for this choke job of a postseason but most of them weren’t born before 2009 and are amazed by long homers in July.

But you can’t be the leader, talk about how the Astros did everyone dirty and then get a magic carpet ride into the World Series.

Real talk, he could’ve showed up tonight even with the 2-0 defector and turned it around and been the hero.

Getting clapped up by a second rate rotation is embarrassing. There’s no way you bring this lineup back next year and expect the do some damage.

It's honestly worth it to lose the world series if that means we finally get cashman out of there... It's sad to think that George would have fired him long ago but his bytch ass sons are too scared to do so.

And of course Boone needs to go as well but Cashman is honestly more complicit and worthy of blame than anyone and has been for over a decade.

And like I said earlier Aaron judge is just a more likable A-Rod at this point actually worse since at least Alex carried his team to a title eventually.

It’s the Yankees. This has been the way every postseason has gone for them since 2002 with one exception. They’re 41-64 when not facing Cleveland or Minnesota in the playoffs over the last 23 years. Jeter and Soto are the only guys who’ve consistently hit well in October for them in that stretch.
Yep. This is why I don't get excited about the Yankees.

Ya wanna know why Verdummy pulled that stunt in the 9th? Because that's the carefree, frontrunning culture that this team enables. It starts at the top with Hal, and it trickles down to that fraud ass Captain, who decided to take his boombox and blast Sinatra. For what? Only to get culo blasted in the next two games.

Imagine Jeter or Bernie doing some lame shyt like that. They were killers, not no lame bytch like that guy.

We have too many cornballs and losers on this team man. Why would a winner like Soto waste his good years with us when better teams with deeper pockets are gonna call this winter

The kids will get impatient too given how Yankee history is defined by guys showing up big in October and after 8 years this guy hasn’t done it still. All the young fans know is seeing their team get slapped around every October while the star player goes cold. He’s hitting .159 with a .247 OBP in his last 35 playoff games. Everyone is getting fed up. That’s the sort of shyt Steinbrenner would’ve traded a guy away for and rightly so.

Most of the lineup isn’t major league caliber. Absolute dead spots in left field, catcher, first base, and shortstop while third base has a second baseman/centerfielder playing there. No bench either. Meanwhile they never even reached out to Freddie freeman or called about Matt Olson or any of the star shortstops. Through 12 playoff games, they have 6 homers not from Soto or Stanton and 2 of those were in garbage time.

and now we have a guy on that bench who has to be convinced that this franchise doesn't believe in him and thinks he's gonna rot here like every other prospect has.

They could win 120 games next year and it won’t mean shyt to me after the way the last decade has unfolded. Until they’re back at this round or being presented with the trophy it’s all a waste of time. They really managed to turn making the World Series into a worse feeling than losing in the ALDS to an 86 win Kansas City team would’ve been.

and now we have a guy on that bench who has to be convinced that this franchise doesn't believe in him and thinks he's gonna rot here like every other prospect has.

This can’t be overstated too. They glued their top prospect to the bench for a 1 year rental who has been the worst hitter in baseball since Father’s Day weekend and bottom 3 since May 1st. This is one of the biggest problems of all. No team gets less out of their draft picks for this specific reason.

300+ million payroll with a roster that's only good enough to beat AL Central teams. :snoop:

Those bozos Hal and Cashman are going to feel like they accomplished something by just getting to a WS and being a punching bag for LA.

Yankees are so similar to the Cowboys. Even down to the faces of both franchises who are both choking frauds in the playoffs.
