I don't blame the Padres for losing him, he wasn't gonna stay on the west coast and didn't vibe with certain guys, it happens. Washington is a lot harder to stomach, hard to rationalize losing an all-time player that loved being there and wanted to stay as long as the money was fair.
There is a rumor he may come back if we give the right amount of cash.

This is trash as fukk. What the hell does any of that mean? You rock out with your team regardless.

wtf “they suck so move on” shyt is this?
:camby:

WRONG

Don't assume. I never liked NY basketball teams, so there isn't any "you rock with your team regardless". Never rocked with them in the first place

Knicks and Nets don't give a fukk about fans in New York, and they showed that time and time again

Yankees, Giants, and Rangers are New York's team

All it took was the Orioles and Astros getting knocked out early for the Yankees to be left standing of the remaining AL teams :skip:

Is it still “fire Cashman & Boone”? @Michael's Black Son ? :pachaha:
It took the Yankees beating the teams in front of them. Something neither the Orioles or Astros could do.

True, and the Yankees can only play who was in front of them, but you can’t sit there and say we’re weren’t denied another October classic where the Yankees would be forced to man up and exorcise their previous demons by beating the team they can’t ever get past :manny:

But to give you the respect of a nuanced response: I've seen a lot of "The Yankees had the easiest path to the World Series" takes on social media. Do nikkas not understand what being the #1 seed, in any and every sport, when it comes to the playoffs entails?

That whole 162 games they played actually means something. The Orioles had our number this season? Cool. They didn't win the division. They didn't have the best record in the AL. The Astros have been a roadblock we seemingly couldn't get past? They didn't do what they had to do to be our roadblock again. I can go back 20 pages and cite myself saying "The pressure is on us now that that narrative is no longer an excuse".

Everyone that wanted attention told me Bobby Witt Jr. was AL MVP. Packed him and his team the fukk up. The Gaurdians had the 2nd best record in the AL? Best bullpen? Where they at? Despite being #1 seed and deserving to play lower seeds, the Yankees didn't have a cake walk. They played well enough where people think they did.

Few, if any, Yankees wins were laughers like I've seen in this Mets v. Dodgers series. Yankees earned this shyt, fam.

to add: the Yankees for 2 months not only sucked but also sucked at home. Nobody took advantage of that.

As for the Astros, the playoffs are a different monster of course, but all Houston had was the past to overcome the Yankees this year. This Astros team just wasn't as good as before and we beat them in all but 1 game.

We can't postpone the playoffs til the Astros get healthy and right. The postseason has gone our way and that happens and we still have 1 more series to go. The Astros play in a division with teams that don't wanna get right outside of Texas last year (and even they choked down the stretch to Houston). No apologies from the Yankees or the fans.

So I’m looking at the jerseys on fanatics with the World Series patch and can someone tell me if the $165 version has the logo, number, and patch stitched on or if it’s printed like replica nfl jerseys? I got a Derek Jeter 2009 World Series home jersey for Christmas last year with the World Series and inaugural season patches stitched on so I don’t want to get one lower quality than that.
