another thing, Stanton aside cuz we gotta give him credit. He's only one hitting with RISP, but speed wrecks games there. After the 5th, pull Stanton and let Dominguez or Ellis run

He’s not gonna pinch run Stanton. :snoop:

They not pinch running for Stanton :mindblown:

PLAYOFF STANTON

YOOOOO

Giancarlo puttin the team on his back tonight

STANTON :blessed:Big G clutch :to:

Team ain’t shyt without Stanton, yet we’re always shytting on him
:heh:
Let the record show I have believed in big G since day 1  :birdman:

Thats my DH :to:

Props to Boone too. Took balls to bring in the closer in the 8th with the best of KC’s lineup due up.

So of course I've been low key wanting Stanton gone for 3 years.

And he's the guy who saves this Yankees series so far.

AND HE STOLE A BASE!!

We joking but Judge timing is off just a little bit and he's due for an offensive avalanche

Hopefully it's tonight
I'm a firm believer that there's no such thing as clutch or choking. Not really.

Players will perform to their career averages in the postseason, given enough sample size --- though to be clear, you would expect a little bit of a dip in the numbers for the postseason since you tend to face better pitching.

That said, Aaron Judge has 212 postseason plate appearances in his career. If this was the regular season, he'd be around May 19th. And nobody would be freaking out over his talent or anything. I understand you dont have that luxury in the playoffs but I'm trying to put things into context.

Yes it sucks that Judge isn't getting hits.

But Chisholm is 2 for 12
Wells is 2 for 12
Torres is 1 for 10

This is a team that can't hit consistently.
And that's Brian Cashman's fault. Because he built this team.

So all that we can do (and what Cashman is praying for) is that the power numbers make up for the lack of base hits.
