There’s at least 10-12 losses this year purely off them doing dumb shyt that largely could’ve been fixed by not giving unlimited playing time to terrible players :beli:
Stat just showed Yankees are 32-28 at home. It's obvious on the road they can avoid dealing with the fanbase on top of them about everything. They'd probably rather be on the road anyway.

I was stuck at the stadium all night watching this shyt:snoop: had 1 good inning . Soto + Judge back to back homers.

Straight downhill after that.

Boone lost us the game in the later innings

These clowns continue to trot out Verdugo and DJ while an actual well run team like Houston dumped Jose Abreu in June and ate 30 million just to get rid of him.

Also this Wells and Trevino shyt is so dumb. Wells is clearly your best hitter after Judge/Soto and they're making him a platoon guy for Trevino who hits .208 against lefties. :what:

Yankees have become the Cowboys of MLB. Making money is the first priority and winning championships is somewhere wayyyyyyyy down the list.

DJ is tied for the worst WAR in baseball at -1.7 while they’re a half game back in the division. They’ve lost 7 of the 10 blown saves by their closer. Only 9 guys have come up to bat with the bases empty more than Soto has this year. Same mistakes every year by the same people and nothing changes. Do they not realize this isn’t the nfl where you only have to fill up the seats for 8 home games on a weekend or a Monday night & things can wildly swing from one year to the next and that in baseball once you’ve stained your brand, it’ll take decades to repair the damage? The brand is built around the highest of standards and yet half the roster consists of guys who are the worst in baseball or nearly the worst at their jobs.

Just from a business standpoint they still have to convince Soto, one of their 2 biggest ticket draws and one of really just 3 guys on the team who sells tickets to sign an extension. If they lose him, it’s the back half of 2023 all over again. Judge will draw 200+ walks a year until he’s done while just 1-2 other guys will post even a .700 ops as the team struggles to avoid last place while avoiding great young talent and their best prospects like the plague.

Do they think fans will buy tickets to go to see that? Do they think fans will pay $40-50 for parking, $6 per person on the subway, $14 on the bridges round trip, or $20-25 per person on the railroad just to reach the game on top of ticket and concession prices to see a team with 1-3 good players while the rest wouldn’t be out of place on the A’s, marlins, or white sox roster?

The New York Yankees fired back at a Little League coach who complained that his team didn't get face time with Aaron Judge at the Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on Sunday.

Bob Laterza, coach of the Staten Island team, told silive.com that Judge didn't turn around and acknowledge his players during the Yankees' game against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday.

“How about turning around or wave to New York and the kids that think you’re a hero?" Laterza told the outlet. “They are the ones who pay your salary.”

Laterza also was angry that Judge didn't show up specifically to greet his New York-based team, despite other Yankees players, coaches and alumni getting with his players for one-on-one time.

“They were disappointed,” Laterza said. “Maybe he’ll want to make up for it and come and see them.”

The Yankees weren't too pleased with the coach's public outburst, releasing a blistering statement that pushed back on Laterza's claims:

“Win or lose, we intend to invite them to Yankee Stadium. However, it would have been much better if Staten Island’s coach called us to understand the facts before bitterly reacting in such a public fashion. Reaching out to us would have been the prudent way to act and would have set a fine example for his young players. Aaron Judge always acts with kindness and respect.”

“The coach could learn a lot from him.”

Laterza's team was eliminated from the Little League World Series with a loss on Tuesday.
