Sony Japan press conference to be streamed and translated
PS4 Japan launch plans likely to be announced on Monday, September 9

Sony Computer Entertainment will livestream a translated version of its Japanese PlayStation press conference on Monday, September 9 at 7am BST / 2am ET, it's confirmed.
According to the
Wall Street Journal, Sony will announce its Japanese PS4 launch plans during the event, but the translation and livestream news could suggest further news with relevance to the global audience.
The latest Sony press event comes ahead of the 2013 Tokyo Game Show, which is set to take place between September 19 and 22.
Sony intends to showcase over 50 PlayStation titles at TGS, including more than ten
PS4 games such as
Knack and Capcom's
Deep Down, which was recently revealed to be
an online title.
Vita and PS3 games set to be exhibited include
Tearaway,
Gran Turismo 6,
PES 2014 and
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.
A trio of Sony executives are also set to deliver an opening day keynote at the Tokyo event.
Titled 'The World PlayStation 4 Creates',
the keynote session will be hosted by Sony Computer Entertainment president and group CEO Andrew House, senior vice president Masayasu Ito, and Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida.
Sony has announced a
PS4 release date of November 15 in the US and November 29 in Europe. The
PS4 price has been set at £349 / €399 / $399. First party launch titles will include
Killzone Shadow Fall,
DriveClub and
Knack.
