Even if they offer to sell to Marvel, they won't have much to bargin with. And because Marvel has way more characters to utilize now, they can simply kill off Spiderman and keep it moving, forcing Sony to reboot him all over again.

I predict Sony will try to play hardball with Feige and/or threaten to sit on Spiderman and this is how it will play out..
