Sony Computer Entertainment is dead, long live Sony Interactive Entertainment (HQ now in the U.S.)

(I already know there is another thread, but that has 0 replies and I like my title better , plus this goes a little more in depth about what's going on at Sony)

As you know, Sony Computer Entertainment was the name of the Sony division that runs PlayStation.

Now all the divisions of SCE combined with Sony Network Entertainment to create Sony Interactive.

That means no more Sony Computer Entertainment America, Europe, Japan/Asian etc.

With this move, the PlayStation headquarters that has been based in Japan since its 1994 inception has now moved to California.

Pretty much. All of SCE's various divisions are now consolidated into one and now is ran at the former American division.

So now PlayStation's Japan office answers to the American branch instead of the other way around like it has been.

Great move..One Sony..The dream has come true for Kaz Harai.. PlayStation HQ In the heart of Silicon Valley, near Hollywood ( Sony Pictures), and they still have the Global team world wide..The software OS team, and the marketing team also in that same building..

Well Sony IS in the process of moving to Cali... Their Network enginners are probably out
