The creators actually answered what would've happened at some point in the 2000s. IIRC -
The eyes at the end were Ixis Naugus (that sorcerer who had appeared earlier). Basically Snively would've tried to be the villain for a while, but eventually Robotnik (after teaming up with Naugus) would've come back and overthrown him. Then Snively would've defected to the Freedom Fighters.
The GOAT interpretation of Sonic across any medium
It's a shame Sally Acorn never crossed over to the games. Really should've been the Zelda to Sonic's Link (or the Leia to his Solo) but Sega just didn't care for that vision, even before the whole lawsuit with the Archie writer.
Still, when i think of Sonic's ideal supporting cast i think of this show.
Didn't even know Jaleel was Sonic
I think I discovered this after I came across the Archie Comics, a long time ago.
When I was actually a kid I was only familiar with AoStH and Sonic Underground , I would have loved SatAM at the time. I think I found it while channel hopping once. It just seems so much richer than the other series.
I loved this when I was 7 ans 8 years old. It was a dope scenario where Dr Robotnik has "won" and put Sonic in a compromised position where he had to use his head often, along with the Freedom Fighters.
