sohh, is the wwe going to do the obvious a$$hole smart booking choice.
to chop asuka off at the knees to keep their charlotte narrative going.

or is the wwe going to take the easy out at mania.
to, have carmella get her legitimized in wwe mythos win on the books over asuka and charlotte.

although it would be dope to see if the wwe could do female muta vs the nwa champion style female template matches. which at times, the women do emulate past great matches in their storytelling.

as of right now, tho.
i don't see wwe booking asuka over their ideal legacy championship narrative in charlotte.
plus, it makes sense in how the wwe typically would work to save their narrative of charlotte.
plus, move the women's division to their sjw work.
to have what is the larger draw and the bigger pr story in the nia jax raw based my body is perfect narrative to supercede, carmella's win.

while on the books it makes sense to swerve and have nia lose because the wwe is the wwe.
i think the wwe may take the high road for the sjw built in storyline and angle.
where we watch the wwe take sjw turn in the brand split.
by booking nia over alexa even with interference from, 'the james' to spoil a clean bf finish for nia.
which would be the better smarter angle to move the women's divison in.
since they have shown to have an agenda with the women's division.
by crowning charlotte as the legacy wwe women's all time workrate based champion.
plus, need to at least have nia go over with the obviously much needed diversity win to offset naomi, BEING THE ONLY SINGLES TOP TIER CHAMPION CROWNED THAT WAS BLACK AT MANIA.

anyway, i think we should all look to the possibility of carmella making that long run down the ramp at mania as a possibility.

plus it makes sense to use the moment because wwe has booked themselves into a box with asuka.

the wwe needs heels and has to build the heels in house from their own development.
as, it hurts the wwe to build heels from outside promotions because they can walk.
whereas a built up within the promotion wwe talent typically don't brave outside the indy's on their own.

asuka still will never have lost and we have already seen asuka be in a match where she did not take the pinfall loss.
so, they have done some type of market research on the reaction of asuka not being the actual winner and also not taking the pin.

right now, i don't think the wwe ruins the dance instructor slash cheerleader inhouse built up type of carmella of the type for asuka.

it just makes sense given how wwe does things.
to have asuka in another chase on smackdown and create some antagonist for asuka.
that antagonist being an inhouse wwe creation, from how the wwe usually works.

yet, i could see wwe doing the whole asuka versus charlotte thing but it makes no sense because there is a brand split.
where charlotte needs to go to raw, and asuka should be on smackdown.
as it matches their workrate build competitors.
who need to give the entertainment style competitors some rampup in the workrate perception by the fans draw department.

Carmella is barely a step above Tamina & Lana on the pecking order of SD women. She can easily win MITB again in June and make that her gimmick. If you want to make Asuka big enough to main event NY with Ronda next year, there’s gotta be sacrifices

Carmella just has a low ceiling. Even the heat she got from the MitB win dissapted in about a week. It makes no sense beyond some stunt booking to sacrifice Asuka's win streak to Carmella, a person they obviously have no long term investment in.

The women's division is in desperate need of heels (especially on Smackdown) but Melly Mell just ain't it. If anything, they shouldn't have sacrificed Ruby Riot and Natalya to Charlotte Reigns.
