Day after Christmas through New Years. With a few friends, my one boys fams from down there. Feel like its gonna be a movie the way things are setting up. Staying in Salinas, hear its like the South Beach of South America . We'll see . Got a few plans, supposed to be going to some Dead Mouse concert ? Never heard of him but my boys excited about it. His cousins a promoter down there doing the show should be gettin some Backstage/VIP access. Aside from that NYE and binge drinking, don't really have too many plans. Anyone been there before?

So I arrived in Guayaquil Ecuador about 48 hours ago now. Travel from Jersey went as planned, luggage popped up, cleared customs no problem. The city is crazy. Everything is so cheap compared to the states. A beer is never more than a dollar. Water bottles for a quarter. Taxi rides are generally $5 even if we need the guy to make stops for us.

The first night we met up with some women my boy (from Ecuador) knew. That was an experience cause these girls could drink and were basically force feeding us shots the whole night. Went back to the hotel, yadda yadda yadda, you already. Yesterday was mainly a lot of walking around the city. Theres a village called Las Peñas that has 400 or so steps that lead to a mountain top overlooking the city.

There's also an area called El Malecon thats basically like a boardwalk with lots of attractions and food. Here's a pic of some food we got there and the Christmas tree they had set up later at night.

In an hour or so two of our friends that were in Galapagos will touch down and we'll be off to Montañita where we will be staying through New Years.

I spent 4 months in Manta back in 07. Best time of my life. So much fun. We would go to the clubs and pay a $12 cover but the bar would be open! I literally had girls fighting for my attention. I loved it there. The prawns the loose women but breh, strap up. They want that green card one way or another if you know what I mean.
