I've been a foster since 2018. I don't know about orphanages but the foster care system's been full for a long time and since the pandemic, it's been worse and worse.

Hmm for every conservative in favor of forcing women to have children, they should also be forced to pay the “Village Tax” proportionate to their earned income.

Let’s calculate how much it costs to raise a child each year and it can be deducted from their income.

If we really care about the kids, then our nation will DEFINITELY come together to make this happen. We can also expand childcare and early childhood services for these babies, as well as mental health care for the parents and real family planning counseling. We also need to expand sexual health and awareness services for the children we are forcing families to have and provide free education and training for them to the age of 25.

If we do it right, we could change our entire economy. And the rich and those so invested in other people’s bodies could fund it all!

As fukked up as it sounds, EVERY single family I know that has adopted anybody older than a newborn has had nothing but problems and stress. I know there are so many children that need a good, stable home but I just can’t bring those kinda problems around my already mentally stable children…
