i usually go to PHilly or NY on the weekends but this part-time job got my balls in a vice grip for a few months

I just started a new job about 2 months ago and my team is pretty cool..I'm the youngest and black (25) and they're in their mid-late 30s and white...but we probably'll do a happy hour one of these days, since we bond alot over this stressful a55 gig..

Yeah....my job competes directly with another company so we talk about that and news in general, but I know I could go out more, but it is hard when you just have no common interests.

I chill with the younger crop of people though....

My last job, everyone went out, got wasted and joked, and I STILL talk them like 4 of them every day. Love those ppl <3

what if i went back chasing dat old feeling, but then everyone i loved quit?

thats why i am not as stressed as i was before....a nicca was stressing in may/june changing jobs and moving is scary haha

I kick it with my co-workers kinda hard. Mostly during 5 hour "lunches" on a random weekday or happy hour after work.

I play 18 holes of golf w my boss every other weekend.

Next weekend, we're all actually going to a golf resort with our significant others. We took Monday off. My group is atypical from the other ones in our office. Our boss is a hip hop loving, vodka drinking 50 year old white dude. Everyone else is 25-33, with me being the only non white person.

First time since boarding school I've regularly hung out with white people

Most of my coworkers are roughly my age, so we'll go out for the occasional beer after a rough day or to celebrate a good week, there's two nice bars 3 blocks from the office so it's easy to do.

my coworkers are wack. All of them have 3 things in common...white, balding, and big stomachs. I don't think any of them watch sports except for my boss and none of them are social-able at all. I can't believe they have wives. We had a casual meeting once at bar with head boss and drinks were on him...these fools were scared to drink. I was the only one that drank besides the head boss. He was sitting there looking at these dudes like yall some damn squares

Well, I don't mind going out with some of my co-workers. It's pretty mixed up here. I have been to happy hour with co-workers and supervisors. It just depends on the enviroment and the relationship that you have with your co-workers. If you don't associate with them at all, like some of my co-workers I wouldn't fool with them. I have a lot of co-workers in my office so I can do something with one group of co-workers and then do something completely different with another group of co-workers. I can say that I do have options.
