One of the worlds biggest pimps will finally face justice for exploiting 10,000 women, according to press reports in Turkey.
Despite the difficult relationship between Turkey and Israel recently, the two countries are cooperating in a high-profile case related to the trafficking of women for prostitution.
Turkey last week granted a request to extradite Guy Hassid to Israel, in order to face justice. Hassid allegedly ran a strip club in Turkish-controlled northern Cyprus, using it as a front for running one of the largest trafficking operations of women in the world, with more than 10,000 victims.....Russian authorities believe that Hassid was in charge of one of the largest trafficking rings in Europe and possibly the world.
"They were the sole traffickers of women smuggled into Israel through the Egyptian border during the 1990s and early 2000s," a senior police officer in Tel Aviv, said.
