Giving them over is not making them gay. Don't get how she got that from the passage at all. To give a human example. Say you try to get a crackhead to stop smoking. You keep telling them to stop but they don't listen. Finally, you just stop telling them and let them do their thing because their mind is made up. That's what giving them over means.
