...a fan of a squad like the Ravens, Colts under Manning, Philly under McNabb, recent Patriots? In other words would you rather be inconsistent as hell but pretty much a lock to win a championship when you do make the playoffs or would you rather be in with a chance to win it every year even though you may go years without winning it or not even win it at all?

I gotta go with the consistency. IMO the fact that they only made the playoffs 3 of the last 7 years cheapens the two titles they managed to win when they did make it.

In todays NFL unless u have a Peyton or Brady youre evnetually gonna have a down year or two because the league changes so much year to year with roster overhaul and throw in the hard cap its nearly impossible to be good every year without a legendary qb

Plus losing tough games in the regular season>>losing like the Ravnes and Niners did last year in the playoffs so close to a title
