Basketball, its almost here

Excited to be back as the underdogs with little to no expectations getting written off left, right, and center


I like what Hollins is drilling into the team, but as always the key phrase is "If we are healthy". We need Deron and Brook for a full season, KG needs to play 25 minutes a night, AK can't miss half the season with a bad back.

"If we are healthy" I like our starting 5 and our bench is totally overlooked. Jack, Bogs, Teletovic, Plumlee, Anderson are a solid bench 5, and then you see what Brown, Jefferson, Karasev, and Jordan can give us.

"If we are healthy" I see no reason this team can't win 44-48 games again and make the playoffs.

As for the season, I have hope but it's very wide open
If we play to potential with no major injuries, we could win the division
If we get hurt and play half assed, we could miss the playoffs entirely
I feel like we will be somewhere in the middle

Why is it gonna be long? This is a team that everyone is writing off and not paying attention to. We got rid of our schizo Head Coach and brought in Hollins who only cares about winning and is whipping the team into shape. Players have been coming out saying Kidd didn't really care for practice, and you wonder why it took us 3 months to figure it out last season.

Last season we were a mediocre team who was hyped to be a title contender, this season we're a mediocre team who's headed for an under .500 record according to most. I'll take this season's expectations over last season any day.

miraculously i know one of them dancer chicks, i'm tryin to meet all them broads when i visit ny.
