Intangibles:

  • Gets over convincingly as face, heel, one of THE best comedy face ever, evil heel, anything
  • Stays in incredible shape, dude is constantly yoked the fukk out
  • Can move and strikes especially chops are convincing
  • Arguably the GOAT tag team partner and stays gettin dudes over...had xpac getting non xpac heat...and brothers of destruction :wow:
  • Dope finishers stolen from his brother, and does a GOAT chokeslam
  • Incredible entrance especially the matchstick titantron
  • Makes everyone :whoa: in Rumbles
  • Stayed getting back over when dealing with BRUTAL wrestlecrap like katie vick and embrace the hate

Number ranking in wrestling is redundant after like a top ten which idk if anyone would put kane in, but who would you say he's better than, and NOT better than?

Ie, imo he's better than big show, but not as good as taker....better than the hardys but not better than edge...

If i were to rank him i'm thinking top 25

Anyone who can go from
isaac-yankem.jpg
to Kane, and get over convincingly is pretty high in my book.

I would never say Top 10 in any list except maybe "Big Men" but he is a pro.

Getting over as Taker's evil brother wasn't that hard, but staying over, losing the mask, gaining it back and doing well through almost all of it means you are really good at what you are there to do.

Also, as stated. Getting through the Katie Vick thing pretty unscathed shows how much people like or hate him at the time.

On a personal favorite level, he wouldn't make my top 50, but he's definitely talented and underappreciated.

He was having a great monster heel run when he first lost the mask.

Was never one of my personal favorites but always thought he was underrated and one of the better big men in the ring work wise. And always thought he deserved a legit run as the WWE Champion and not that one day reign he had. He is a definite HOF'er though. When Kane first debuted in 97 a lot of people had it as a gimmick that would basically disappear after his fued with Taker but here we are 15 years later and he is still as over as ever.

Top 10 for underappreciated wrestlerng, considering some of the crap creative gave to him.

Top 20 for being a big guy that can go in the ring, ala TLC 2012 and past RR

Top 50 overall

I could reason for him in my top 20ish. Can't see any reason that he shouldn't be a future hall of famer given Vince's criteria especially.

Dude started off as your basic spinoff character which typically have SHORT shelf lives. And here we are in 2012 still going. .. Like ya'll have mentioned he's had some awful storylines that you can still look back at and find some fine quality #fukkery within them.

He's had some dope feuds and matches, the man can work when he's called to do so. .. can be sinister as it gets (unmasked Kane/ Wheelchair launching), is easy to get behind as a babyface as well, does comedy without being corny due to his dry sense of humor

Plus he's always had great entrances/music.

I'd put him on that tier slightly below Edge's of the world

I've never cared for nor hated him. But I respect him always being in the mix, always being in shape, and always being relevant. He could be in a semi-main event match and not seemed forced.

He's definitely an all-time great WWF/WWE great.
