I was looking at these yesterday, they looked aight to me :ld:

I'm probably unique in that I really only want a tablet for movie/video watching and light browsing. So battery life and being robust in terms of files it support. MKV files and AVI files must be supported, so Android and iPad are out (unless I'm mistaken). To my knowledge my only other options are those ASUS and Lenovo units....I think the surface looks better than all those.

Am I missing something or is this a good buy?

I've played MKV and AVI movies on my Touchpad (Android 4.0.4) using Dice Player w/o a problem. :smugbiden:

Yeah there's a bunch of players in the Play Store that handle all types of files.

I go with MXplayer. #GSDG .
