not named Avengers? Im sure the sequel in 2015 is gonna be crack but lets look at the first two flicks in all the major Marvel franchises and compare them to the Blade... Im disregarding the 3rd one (as well as X3 and Spidey 3) on legal grounds of trash
Spiderman 1&2 - These are the closest IMO to beating the Blade flicks but it falls flat on the fact that Tobey Maguire is a swagless fakkit who was carried by his villains, Wesley had two ill ass antagonists but he was never outshined like that... plus Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane
X-Men 1&2 - Part one was ok, fight scenes were pretty wack and like someone said a while back on here... how the fukk is Mystique whupping Wolverines ass?
Second one is tight tho Ian Mckellen killed his role as Mags and Hugh Jack is iconic as Logan but the last fight with Lady Deathstrike is w/e 
FF 1&2 - Definition of meh, hate how they did Doom with buddy from Nip/Tuck, horrible casting overall IMO and Glactus as a cloud?

Hulk & Incredible Hulk - 1st one is sum scum of the earth type shyt, Ang Lee shoulda been blackballed a lil but longer for that, second one was cool Ed Norton is my guy woulda liked to seen him continue the role but fukk it, fight with Abomination was dope 2
Daredevil & Elektra - Wouldnt watch these pieces of shyt again if it meant I would have all my school loans paid off
Ghostrider 1&2 - Havent seen the second one but smh at Nick Cage, ol Vegeta hairline having ass fukking up my opinion of Johnny Blaze being one of the cooler characters in the Marvel U, also most anticlimactic battles in any comic movie EVER
Punisher & Warzone - First one is fukking excrement aside from the Russian scene but Warzone is sick, I feel like besides Wesley as Blade and RDJ as Iron Man this is one of the best recent characterizations in film of a comic

Iron Man 1&2 - Robert Downey is a genius actor and one charismatic motherfukker, I hate Terrence Howard but part one is classic, especially with the deleted Ghostface scene on deck, cool as movie... felt like part 2 was trying a lil too hard but overall not that bad I liked Whiplash tho
Which bring me to this.... Blade 1 and 2 and pretty much perfection, the first is one of the best Dark comic book hero movies (dont say THE best because of The Crow) ever and captured that slick underworld vibe perfect, all the characters felt alive, Frost is a fukking g and the fights were super fire... Part two made it more action oriented and explosive but still kept it dark and gritty enough to be edgy, Nomek was whuppin that ass 2
