It's usually Andre that gets all the recognition and co signs but are hip hop heads really gonna act like Big Boi aint one of the best of all time? The rapid fire spitting, top notch flow, on point delivery, clear voice, versatility, and quality lyrics. This dude is one of the best to do it. He has some of the best verses ever.
And Andre is top 5 in my humble opinion. He is the most creative rapper ever. One of the most lyrical and the most introspective ever. We tend to forget Andre's impact on hip hop. Dude is so respected he is the only rapper to ever get away with wearing full on costumes and nobody saying a word cause they know 3k will eat them alive. He broke down the barriers for the whole "weird/outerspace" movement (b.o.b, cudi), broke down the clothes barrier (kanye, who expanded on it), and the full on singing (drake, cudi). They blend so many genres in their music its incredible. We can listen to nikkas like Kendrick, Cudi, Lupe, Kanye, B.o.B and hear that 3000 influence in the music. Outkast produced their own music their entire career.
