They'll be able to brag for months or even years that they put on a show at the Alamodome, to make Lockdown sound like a big deal. I can hear Tenay's excited voice already.

(They'll just conveniently forget to mention that 95% of the seats were empty.)

They probably got a better deal booking the Alamo Dome then they would have gotten with any other venue in San Antonio.

But then again this is the internet, and even if they would have booked a smaller venue people would have found a reason to criticize that :yeshrug:

They've booked a venue that they'll fill to 5% capacity :dead:

To be fair to TNA, it's possible that the only other venues in San Antonio are WWE-exclusive. I have no idea, but that might explain it, if TNA insists on holding Lockdown in San Antonio.

They definitely did it when WCW was around, in certain cities at least. Maybe they don't consider TNA enough of a threat to bother anymore.

I'm just throwing it out there as a possibility. :yeshrug:
