So, this election is about the jobs and economy

I see this everywhere, but I see very few people actually trying to do something about it. Those days of going to the unemployment office or opening the newspaper and getting a good factory job are in the past. You have to actually 'work' for your prosperity now. Maybe moving to a different part of the country has to happen but there are jobs out there. I had a conversation with someone that was complaining about working in fast food. MY question was why don't you got to school or something. His reply: I don't want student loans, my reply you are likely to smell like fry grease forever. Stop being stupid, you aren't Calvin at Mickey D's making moves. Sorry, I just had to rant. Flame if you must.

do u know whats going on with the student loan industry? im kinda on both sides. for that persons situation, id suggest goin to school for a certificate in something that can make money instead of a 4 year college loan.

actually, jobs are pretty scarce around these parts. the ones that are available are either fast food or retail type jobs or dont pay decent, even with a degree.
