I am fat and I agree with him but with that being said why is he so obsessed with other people?
The overall message is good 
He's speaking a lot of truth- this approach clearly doesn't work for everyone though. People are sensitive.

People are different. Some people don't like to be yelled at, some people love to be yelled at. Everyone has different ways of motivating themselves.

He may have been very blunt. be we need to strive to be the best that we can be. I am overweight myself but I'm gonna keep fighting the good fight. He was just being honest, and I would rather that than this sort of pansy azz tip-toeing everyone seems to do nowadays.
He was right, but his approach and the way he said it was absolutely terrible. Bluntness is not not what people want, there is a way to go into it, and there is his way.

Tough love.
He's a motivator. Some people need a kick in the ass. Plenty of overweight people would rather use pseudo science as to why they are what they are
rather than put a modicum of effort into getting into shape. EVERYTHING he said was right. People who wanna be slim are upset with what he said, only they
lack self-control.
