They were tighter musically than I was expecting. It really felt and sounded like one of their 'good' shows in eighties.
Having Dave Lombardo drum was a nice touch as he was adding in double bass fills, so the songs were even faster than normal.
It was such a cool experience being surrounded by fellow fiends, waiting for the show to start having NO idea what to expect.
Most people assumed they would open with Skulls, 138 or Bullet, but when the curtain dropped - they went into death comes ripping and the whole place went nuts!!
You could tell that the majority of people there were real fans, I could barely hear Danzig over our collective singing, and not just the choruses and 'oh-ohs' but every lyric, F'n epic.
