So the iPad mini is rumored to have a 1024 x 768 resolution?

Are they fukking kidding me? Maybe it's just me but I use tablets for two reasons (if i'm not at work): to browse the web and watch videos on the go....

So why if most of the web and videos are formatted for a 16:9 or 16:10 resolution does apple keep rocking the 4:3?
Some argue that 4:3 is best for e-readers, but I guess I don't read enough books on a tablet to see the advantage?

What is everyone's thoughts on this? Is reading books more important or being able to enjoy video on the go?
