Good question, well I'm from Queens so Nas definitely was an artist I grew up listening to and still check for today. He's definitely one of my influences but I wouldn't by any means say he was/is the biggest. I'd say Biggie's a bigger influence on my style more than Nas was/is. No discredit to Nas though, he's definitely in my top 5.

If anything he's doing good by continuing to influence artists like me to pic up that mic and put in work to progress the culture.

He's been been providing for his family with rap since he was a teenager.

Very few, who are still relevant in the game today, can say that.
