What kind of stuff you into? Superheroes? Noir? Horror?

Anyway I recommend the following:

Batman
The Long Halloween
Dark Victory
Hush
Year One(Batman's origin, also Gordon's story)

I have Dark Knight Returns but ehhh I thought it was just okay.

Others
All Star Superman
Identity Crisis
The Walking Dead(I only read compendium one which is 1-48)
Invincible(I only read the ultimate collection vol. 1 so far so good though)
Green Lantern: Secret Origin
Four Color Fear: If you're into the old ec horror comics stuff you'd like this. You get 40 stories for $19.79 on Amazon

But if you just want to get a few off the bat I'd say get: The Long Halloween, The Walking Dead Compendium and Invincible Ultimate Collection 1.

The Stand, an adaption of stephen kings best book. They did a really good job with it. Even if youve read the novel check out the comic.

I've been wanting to check out that Y: The last man for a while now. Is it pretty good? What's the story about exactly?
