Pretty much...gets a "A" for effort tho...after 6 years..they could have done SO much better...

I REEALLY don't understand why they couldn't get Jodelle Ferland (the girl who played Sharon/Alessa in the first one) to reprise her role in this movie. It takes place 6 years later..and she still looks the same lightweight..

Maybe they thought she woulnd't be "believeable" or something..especially when they had the character die her hair...

I LOVED the first Silent Hill movie..and I was when they didn't do the sequel sooner....

This movie was just blah...the acting was bad...hella plot holes...and it was VERY anti-climatic ....they LIGHTWEIGHT set up a sequel..but I wouldn't count on it....
