Sister

I was only 16 but I guess that's no excuse
My sister was 32, lovely and loose

She don't wear no underwear
She said it only gets in her hair
And it's got a funny way of stoppin' the juice

My sister never made love 2 anyone else but me
She's the reason 4 my, uh, sexuality

She showed me where it's supposed 2 go
A blowjob doesn't mean blow
Incest is everything it's said 2 be

Oh sister - don't put me on the street again
Oh sister - I just wanna be your friend

I was only 16 and only half a man
My sister didn't give a goddamn
She only wanted 2 turn me out
She'd take a whip 2 me until I shout

Oh motherfukker, she's a motherfukker, can't U

So Prince was legit raped by his 32 year old sister, admitted it, and no one batted an eye

That REALLY explains things…

EDIT: HE ADMITTED IT WAS REAL IN AN INTERVIEW

PRINCE: “Sister“ is serious. “Head” could be taken as satire. No one’s laughing when I’m saying it so I don’t know. If people get enjoyment out of it and laugh, that’s fine. All the stuff on the record is true experiences and things that have occurred around me and the way I feel about things. I wasn’t laughing when I did it So I don’t suppose it was intended that way.

That’s why I stopped doing interviews. I started and I slopped abruptly because of that. People weren’t taking me serious ly and I was being misunderstood. Everything I said they didn’t believe anyway. They didn’t believe my name. They didn’t believe anything.

I’m sorry but the lyrics to this song are disturbing. How did this song manage to see the light of day?

Lil Wayne admitted to being raped at 11.

When did the sexual assault/abuse of young black men become normalized?

Tbh it kind of explains his entire image now.

Some weird psychological shyt happened to where he started to dress like a woman, probably the same one who abused him :ohhh:

A lot of strange things happen to victims of sexual abuse and it manifests itself later in life.

I did some reading on him and apparently at first he wasn’t so flamboyant and androgynous with his image. Until his late teens where things started to kick into overdrive and so did his literal obsession with music.

Must’ve been his only outlet to process the pain. Cold world! :wow:
