if he was that good an actor he’d still have a career

He's unstable. A part of it is him being depressed about how his career turned out but, I'm also sure it's from him being abused as a child or subject to seeing abuse in the industry. I'm sure somewhere in the repeated periods of psychosis and disassociation and prolonged word salad, there's some truth in his words.
