I think that African-Americans in this country have shown that as a collective unit, we have a massive amount of potential to exercise the changes that we want and that we can influence within and outside the system. But let's say we have an organized Congressional Black Caucus and a proper system of lobbyists. What would be the agenda that you would push the President to pass. What are the biggest things that he needs to address that would directly impact African Americans that you feel hasn't been focused on?

OK ok ok ok ok .. aight... fiuuuuck.

lol, can someone EVER ask a question about policies or causes or agendas that may be helpful to the black community as a whole, without someone talking about baby mamas and fixing this n that on our own.

I work with nothing but C@Cas. The nation is set up for people who aren’t ‘us’. There is so much that they take for granted and so much that their communities don't have to deal with and so much stigma they will never feel- that it's basically amazing.

I mean, I do be on some self-reliance, black business, black family values, we don't need c@c sh1t; however there are political policies and agendas that will also assist the black community in our overall efforts. These may not be strictly black policies..

but something like investing heavily in early childhood education and have counselors visiting each kindergarten and 1st grade classroom weekly... will especially help black communities overtime. Especially since the broken family thing can't be fixed for a while and wont be fixed without something else giving first- like drug laws, education, economic resources, etc.

I think decriminalization of marijuana or at the very least more lax sentences for nonviolent drug offenses would help a lot, you got a lot of nyggas in jail for that and that don't need to be. Not to mention nyggas that can't get a job because something like that is on their record.

Not sure how much influence Obama has over that but I think it'd have a huge impact.
