New series on Comedy Central with James Davis..Never heard of him but the commercials were funny so im checking it out

Aight the chitlins bit was funny lol
I want him to be successful but I just don't know. As much as I want to say it'll give white folks a "non- threatening" view of the hood, it just seems like it's going to be stereotype reinforcement.

Thats how I felt about the first half of the show. Like they were forcing some ignorant shyt to be done and said.
Dave Chappelle somewhere watching this bullshyt like "WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!?!?!"
The opportunity was there and he did exactly what dude that ran up on them in the first sketch talked about: exploited it. Even though it's on comedy central he could have talked about the bullshyt he had to go through being hood adjacent, but it all devolved into stuff young adult white folks could yuk it up about.
Yeah, I thought this was going to be something else.
From the commercials I thought it was gonna be a sitcom showing a guy thats too hood for some and too clean cut for the hood.
Ill keep watching and hope for the best.
