This trailer revealed that but its actually an easier and realistic route to take in the MCU instead of the comic civil war. All those jokes about the third act with shyt falling out of the sky got people scared and since The theme of Cap movies are always political they tackling a police state.

MOS handled the alien invasion in a more violent and serious way instead of supe cracking jokes so it didnt take 2 phases to get to the backlash

Hollywood stay doing this every year. These double movies... super heros fighting for trust of the citizens s they protect.

The civil war origin in the comics woulda made more sense being that massive destruction will always be a theme in suspended belief, else I wouldn't enjoy these movies. Marvel just doesn't have the time money or public interest in building everyone out (especially when sony wants to continue to ruin everything)

And we just gone act like batman didn't let a city be held hostage by a nuke for an entire year

I'd prefer to enjoy both for what they are and I hate this "war" that's between fans as the studios have no beef. Civil war and BVS succeeding helps both companies

How you gonna blame Sony when it's Disney who needs to cut the check and get all of their Marvel character rights back? Civil War with 12 cats is corny enough to me, but it is what it is considering the circumstances. Not having the mutants involved is rediculous to me.
