I'm sure there were always complaints about Apu from that community. The complaints spoken about in the Problem with Apu didn't just come out of nowhere. It's not my place to tell another race how they should feel about a popular interpretation of that race on a mainstream and very popular tv show.

They actually write apu like a character. The problem is you have a white man voicing him and HE does it stereotypically. Also you could not have him working at the Kwik E Mart in 2018
