so I clicked the network and on my iPhone and the first thing that came up was some gaming challenge (didn’t read tbh) between the new day and Kenny and the Bucks.

Did an intern fukk up or is this legit? Not the contest but Vince allowing them to be front and centre???

Again, I’m aware of the competition, I just can’t believe it was green lit to be the first option when I log into the network

Maybe its due to the fact that WWE doesn’t really consider NJPW a legit competitor since they have limited exposure in North Ameria. It’s the same way Jericho is able to jump back and forth between promotions or JR can work for both companies at once.

Why? They mention AJ and Nakamura being IWGP Champions like...every week. For years now. And Gallows/Anderson being IWGP tag champs. Both Kenny and the Bucks have been mentioned on wwe.com by talent and writers a number of times over the past few years.

For now that's the case. If NJPW starts doing monthly shows in the US it'll probably change.

Why? They mention AJ and Nakamura being IWGP Champions like...every week. For years now. And Gallows/Anderson being IWGP tag champs. Both Kenny and the Bucks have been mentioned on wwe.com by talent and writers a number of times over the past few years.

Difference with the guys you mentioned & The Elite is Styles, Nakamura, Gallows/Anderson are Former IWGP champs and currently employed with WWE. One thing to mention them being a former champ, another thing recognizing current Champs from another organization.

this has feelings of 2005 when they didn’t see the UFC as competition for their audience and allowed The Ultimate Fighter to piggyback off RAW

Shoot, Ted Turner called up Vince ahead of time to tell him he bought WCW and he gave it no mind. Vince just brushed it off as not being in the same business.

I'm sure he'll act like NJPW isn't taking away fans just like he acts like UFC hasn't already.
