The police shot and killed the shooter almost immediately after he opens fire on his ex-boss. Why were 9 innocent civilians still wounded???? What kind of training are these cops in the NYPD receiving? I couldn't imagine officers who were properly trained shooting 9 PEOPLE when there's only one gunman and he's taken out that quickly. Why were so many shots still fired?

I mean it's fukked up enough to be out and get caught in the crossfire out a shootout anywhere, but that's life and those risks can present themselves at any given moment. Have you seen the amount of training a cop goes through to be certified with a weapon?

It's laughable bro. People would be outraged if they knew the truth, especially when compared to the amount of shooting done by military units.

Don't watch too much movies like Die Hard and Lethal Weapon and think these dude are sharpshooters. Most of them can't even hold a weapon properly.

I called this yesterday morning when the initial reports came out.

Does anyone remember in the early 90's when there was a shoot out on Queens Blvd where the cops let off 200 rounds and hit the suspect like 9 times and also killed the hostage ? This is just status quo for the NYPD

Im not the greatest shooter in the world, but im pretty sure I can hit a target 15 feet away without hitting 9 other objects?! They shot him 3 times, which means they probably missed about 10-12 times before hitting him
