So it looks like there may potentially be a Canelo vs Crawford fight later this year. Thoughts brehs?

Very risky for Bud imo but money talks and the Saudi's got a lot of that.

Not a fan of it but both dudes seem like they looking to retire soon so fukk it I guess. If he doesn't care about retiring with his 0 then it's kind of low risk huge reward for Crawfod since everyone will expect him to lose but a win will put him in All Time Great convos. Not sure what Canelo gets out of it except for another "peydey"

The Saudi's gonna make them an offer they can't refuse, so it'll be worth the risk for Bud. But yeah, Cabelo just gonna be too big for him.

I think you guys are underselling Bud.

I could easily see him outboxing Canelo the same way Floyd did.
Assuming he can keep him honest but can we? He’s just moving up to 154. Mell Charlo who’s a big 154er couldn’t make a dent in Canelo.
Grantes, Bud is a better fighter than Mell but still not sure if his power will be enough even if he catches Canelo clean off-guard

Crawford would be going up two weight classes. I don't see this ending any other way than a stoppage for Canelo.

Unnecessary fight for Bud. He'd be throwing away what is left of his prime.

How often are non-black fighters expected to take on these challenges by the way? I remember Golovkin was a division below Ward. There was no real pressure to make the fight happen. Black fighters are expected to climb the divisions until they get licked.

Are you kidding? Crawford wants to do it..nobody is forcing him to go up in weight when most ppl want to fight Boots at 147.

Whereas we have Monster whose greatness is downplayed and told he has to move up to a "big boy" division like 130 or 135 and face Tank
