So is Harry Reid going to apologize for lying about Mitt Romney not paying any taxes the past ten years? The Senate minority leader famously made that accusation a month or so ago. Of course left wing blogs and liberal networks like MSNBC were all too happy to repeat the allegations despite there not being a shred of evidence to support them.

Well Mitt Romney released his 2011 tax returns yesterday in additions to the returns he has already released. In just 2011, Romney paid almost $2 million in taxes as well as gave away $4 million in charitable contributions. He also released a notarized statement from PriceWaterhouseCoopers attesting to the fact that Romney has paid an average effective tax rate of 20% the past ten years.

Now that Democrats like Harry Reid have been proven to be liars yet again will they be issuing an apology to Romney? Will the media even call them out? I doubt it.

Why apologize? if they're false allegations just release your tax returns and prove him wrong. It's a great play by Reid.
