This is Mania time... IWCers get really, REALLY analytical and skeptical about everything around this time. This is when wrestlers get criticized for the things that make them THEM, wrestlers who are not damaged or buried in the least bit get talked about like their careers are in dire straits, and even good and logical ideas are called terrible... and of course all of the hypercriticism of everything takes everyone out of any ability to actually enjoy the show, and then they wonder why they don't like it. It's probably the worst three months to be part of the IWC.

And why should he lose to Cena when Orton and Sheamus made him his bytch several times over. Cena beat him twice in a throwaway feud basically used to turn AJ and introduce Langston. He beats Cena....now what? His chick and bodyguard hold more weight than he does. Ziggler is a JTTS, something that happened when fukking Rey Mysterio didn't put him over choosing Morrison instead. Yeah, where is he now?

And let's address the elephant in the room, a lot of this Ziggler love his forced. It was me and like three other people supporting this dude while most focused on his name or slurping Vickie's chalupa just because she was Eddie's widow. shyt reminds me of Swagger. nikkas was on dikk HARD and well....you know. Crazy because he was effectively buried by "famous off one overrated promo" Christian.

Give it a rest. Ziggler is fukked. Pinning Cena wouldn't help shyt. He's just not believable.

Thats why I listed booking first. It sucks in general, its just especially bad when it comes to Cena.

And I knew you'd say that , difference is Cena loses one match and goes back to going over everyone and thing in the company. Guys like Ziggler lose matches every week, then lose a match like that and get threads like this made acting like its somehow their own fault they got fukked over and arent credible.

Its not his fault per se, but he's a pretty big piece of shyt for agreeing to put himself over everyone else and the good of the business for 10 years straight. They coulda had him still win the feud with Ziggler without going out of their way to make Ziggler look like a complete joke, but thats been the M.O. for the Cena era and its the main reason wrestling fans hate him.

You all seem to have this delusion where the top guys can just waltz into Vince's office and say, "Hey boss, I want to lose to so and so." It doesn't work that way. No matter how fukked up, Vince has a certain path he wants people to follow. He doesn't see Ziggler as much more than a good hand that can be slotted into a title run if need be. As a heel he would never be booked over anyone because he is too goofy and inept. I doubt anyone but Jericho or Foley would agree to put Ziggler over at this point.

And Cena's shoot promo was good. Much better than the shyt he followed up with later. Your boy Punk has made his name off shoot promos from Hardy to Cena to Nash, Rock etc. etc. Cena rarely uses that stuff and when did this time it was good. The shyt was softballs anyway, Punk, Big Show, even Orton could have countered that. They need to get Ziggler on backstage stuff then work his way to the live crowd.

EDIT: 10 years ago was 2003, Cena was mid-card heel wigger. You mean seven going on eight years.

Ziggler was hottest after he beat Jericho. Should've pulled the trigger then. He's definitely cooled off and Del Rio is gaining momentum.

Ziggler and Ryback are gonna be casualties of Wrestlemania season because it doesn't look like we'll get any good booking with these two in the near future.

I dont know how anyone can say Ziggler is not "credible" enough to win if you are not looking at from a booking perspective. If you are going on wrestling ability then How is one of the best wrestlers in a WRESTLING company not credible enough to be its champion? Miss me with the size comparisons because they have been champions with his size and built too.

Ziggler might no be top tier when it comes to others on the mic in the E but he is right below them and I feel if they let the reigns off him a bit he can really shine through has exhibited, imo, on those early zack ryder youtube shows. Ive really had no problems with his mic work and for those talking about "silence" when he is on the mic, there seems to be silence for alot of these wrestlers, top guys too (Shameus, Ryback when he doesnt resort to his chant, etc) when they are on the mic or entering to come down to the ring.

All this comes down to the terrible ass booking they did with Ziggler/Cena fued. After coming off the biggest match of his life they proceeded to kill all his heat and make Cena go over him CLEAN twice and now he is jobbing out to other people .I stand by my opinion that the last two people in the rumble should have been Ziggler and Cena. I mean how are you supposed to look credible when they constantly have you losing and made to look like a complete fool. Cena did not have to go over in that fued, his credability and draw would not have been hurt one bit going into his inevitable rematch with the Rock but they book most of the heels terribly all the time.

And eventually this is going to led to Ziggler eventually cashing in his MITB, winning, holdin the title with probably no heat and droping it right off and sliding right back down the card. Its really all terrible booking.

That's why i think they haven't made him champion yet. Not because he doesn't have the talent, but because they don't know how to push him or what to do with him if he gets the belt. He's defintiely earned a chance to hold the title with the work he has put in over the years. But they need to make him a nasty arrogant heel like a Rick Rude something. And let him get some legit wins over some of the bigger faces. Make him so cocky and arrogant but also a winner so that the fans take him serious.
