Think about the situation...thats the equivilant of CM Punk, And Team Hell No being in a stable and facing Cena, Randy Orton, and Santino Marella in a room the size of Hammerstein Ballroom.

They MIGHT be excited

NWA crowds were very often like that. The LOVED their wrestling. Us fans are way too jaded to just mark out and enjoy it now. Unless of course, you love the fukkery and embrace it in your life.

These crowds today are ass unless their in Smark Cities. They don't get excited unless a person is damn near killing themselves jumping off a ladder or getting put through a table

80's crowds shyt all over 00's and most of the 90's.

There was no territory I've seen that wasn't live as fukk for a big match. And they popped for the most simple shyt, it's one of the main reasons why I love watching that Era.

Yep... like Notorioushnic put it, people have seen so much at this point, you gotta do some overly outrageous shyt to get the crowd hyped as fukk. That's the downside to when there started being ladder matches every other month and tables every week and Foley being thrown off the Cell... seeing too much of that makes it harder for fans to get into a good match without any over-the-top shyt. I watched Steamboat/Savage at Mania III recently... muhfukkas popped for a got-damn armdrag. The only way they would do anything for an armdrag now is if someone got armdragged off the top rope to the announcer's table.

It really adds to the show to see them get hyped like that tho'... just makes it feel like so much more is going on. Now half the fans are jaded and the other half just wanna be critics... makes you wonder why they even bought a ticket.

Hoegan's Hulk Up would get a Conway Pop these days if he debuted 2 years ago. Wrestling crowds at the live shows suck. The IMPACT zone has the worst fanbase for a wrestling promotion ever though no comp. They pop for Eric fukking Young but whenever it's main event time at a PPV the crowd :deadmanny:
