So I'm looking to start a hat/t shirt line. Should I hustle snap backs?

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
me personally I do't rock em. I only wear fitted hats but I guess snap backs are easier to sell because you don't have to worry about carrying different sizes.

I use to hustle purses way back when I worked at a call center. I need a new hustle so I'm looking to start a hat/t shirt line so I can pay off student loans, the IRS :sadcam: and a nice down payment on a house when I'm ready to leave NJ.

I'm still in the design phase and i'm looking to have some samples done by late july/early august. It's going to be high end fashion fitted hats (or snap backs if I can get away with it) and tees. Will snap backs still be hot for the rest of the year?

Yeah.. I don't wear snap backs. i figured I would try to cash in. I'll probably do like 2 designs to start with. I live 15 minutes from Manhattan so if I can't sell shyt here then i lost :manny:

I'm gonna troll celebrity instagrams and twitters and convince them to rock a hat or shirt and take a pic. If they think it's hot they won't mind getting free shyt right? It shouldn't be too hard because you got all of these fake celebrity reality stars that would feel special to have nikkas sending them free shyt. I'm gonna start with Erica Mena :shaq:

Fitted hats will always be in style but snapbacks are a couple of months away from being :flabbynsick: . I doubt they make it to 2014.

You can start out with snapbacks then graduate to fitteds of they ger phased out. T-shirts and sweatshirts should be included as well.

I put snapbacks in the same category as trucker hats or I think of them as hats little kids wear. I don't want to try to sell some shyt I wouldn't wear.

The cost factor is tempting though. I could develop more styles and not have to worry about ordering sizes. I'm getting them shyts made in china aint not telling how long it would take. So i'm gonna go with 2 fitted styles. I just gotta make sure its different yet dope. My cousin working on a logo. Once I get the LLC formed and i get my tax ID I'm gonna start making moves. I already got some ideas for the shirts.

That's a pretty solid plan actually. The cost in bulk should be pretty low, and by doing fitteds, you may have a better chance at sustained success. I hope it takes off breh for real, at least you seem to respect the demographic that you're aiming at, and with a dope design there's no telling how far it can go.
