I was about to grab a 2015 MacBook pro since I do some photo / video editing for my old man when he does weddings and other functions.

Already had a mac so I when ahead and grabbed the msi gt72 dominator pro instead to give PC gaming a shot while I'm at my girls crib or out wherever.

I paid maybe 500 more than what I would've paid for a MacBook pro. I have other uses for it outside of gaming. I paid the extra for the gaming aspect and portability
