I'm watching the show FROM, which is on Paramount+ and Prime if you have the PM.
Because that's all neurological, and what are you? A Soul? Or something else, but point is you left your body.
And if you left your body, there cannot be pain, pleasure or fear anymore, because those are all neurological.
For pain to exist, you must have things like sensory neurons, the spinal cord, and the brain.
When tissue is damaged or inflamed, pain signals are generated by nerve endings called nociceptors. These signals travel through the nervous system to the spinal cord and then to the brain, where they are processed and interpreted as pain.
The only way for you to feel pain without these mechanism is by something called Phantom pain, that's where your body thinks it has these structures, but that still needs a brain. And it's an entirely different form of pain that can't really be escalated to torture.
So what does that say about Heaven And Hell?
Heaven is known as a place of bliss and happiness and hell as torture and heat.
But you can't feel pleasure without neurotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins. And you can't have these things without a body, serotonin is produced by the gut, so you need it.
And Pain? You need the structures I mentioned to be able to feel pain
All this has to debunk heaven and hell.
the show is about a family goes gets lost somewhere and gets into a car crash, and then they end up in a town where you cannot leave and there's monsters at night.
So she asks a question, "Did they survive that crash"? As if that place is a form of purgatory.
And then I started thinking... I think they alive
Because if you dead logically things you once had will leave your body.
You won't feel fear the same way, you won't feel pain the same way, and likely you won't have survival instincts.
And they were running away from the monsters so they had these instincts.
