So I decided to marathon Arrow

The greatness that is The Flash has inspired me to get into Arrow so I have something to hold me over. Got the first five episodes of Season 1 on deck.

No spoilers, please, but what should I expect in the first season? Is it a show that's good right off the bat or will I have to watch it for a while before it picks up? Decent special effects?

Shows like arrow ar better marathoned. I marrathoned the first season and haven't had the same high rwith the other 2 seasons that I did week to week.

Season 1 is not as good as season 1 flash. But still enjoyable. The first couple of episodes were really good imo. It dragged for a couple of episodes untill episode 7 or so. Than things really picked up.
Season 2 is the show became legendary though

starts off a lil slow.. picks up the second half of season 1 and continues through season 2.

season 3 has been but i'm behind a few episodes.
