I don't know if some of you have seen me in some of the other higher learning threads thus far, but here are the ideologies i stand by:

whether we elect a Democrat or Republican our basic human rights will continually be stripped as the federal government wants to control more of our lives.

It's disgusting how polarized and hate driven America has become, plus the fact that we let a central private bank control our economy and print unbacked money.

The system as a whole is broken, and personally I'm not going to partake in it until some radical changes happen. Average Americans can't invoke a real change because our money isn't long enough to do so.

Until policies and offices aren't bought through lobbying or super PACs, we the citizens of the United States won't see our government work us; instead they will work for their own self interest and pocket books.

The constitution needs amending, corporations aren't people and shouldn't be granted the same rights. In this digital age we live in, it should be required that all politicians have full transparency on where their money comes from and the influence this money could cause to an office they hold.

In addition to our political system, our money needs to be backed by some sort of real value, whether that being gold or something else; without it more inflation and bubbles will occur as the Fed will continue to try and keep our interest rates down.

Without these fundamental changes, you guys arguing about the candidates and/or their policies won't do us any good; it's just distracting us from the real problems.

But now I think I might actually vote for Mitt.....I'm not saying I like him, or agree with him, or standby him on any of his policies/issues; except one.

The most important thing to me is getting America back on track financially and limiting the control of the federal government, I don't give a fukk about anything else. And I think that starts with eliminating the Fed, but that won't happen so we atleast got to get Bernanke out of there.

Obama's made it clear that Bernanke is not going anywhere, so my only hope on some reform I actually can support is to vote for Mitt.

From The Wall Street Journal
The Federal Reserve's near-zero interest rate policy has come in for a lot of criticism of late. Savers young and old are angry about paltry returns. Free-market advocates complain about the distorting effect low rates have on capital allocation. And small-government types worry that the central bank is enabling an unprecedented explosion in government spending.

Fed critics should at least be happy to know that when interest rate decisions are being made there are articulate dissenters in the room. One of them, Dallas Fed President Richard Fisher, stopped by the Journal's offices Tuesday and was frank in his criticism of Ben Bernanke's policies.

He said both academic research and his own surveys of businessmen show little evidence that low rates will do anything to spur real growth over the near term. What's holding the economy back is uncertainty over policy issues like tax rates. "What we're accommodating [with low interest rates] is fiscal malfeasance [on the part of Congress and the president] and at some point it has to stop."

Mr. Fisher pointed out that policy uncertainty hurts most the least well off. "The more complex you make things the more you provide an advantage to the rich and powerful" who can game and influence the system.

And he pleaded for an end to the Fed's so-called "dual mandate"—under law it is supposed to have responsibility for both price stability and promoting economic growth. He said growth would actually be promoted if the Fed were like "every other central bank" and responsible for price stability only.

As an unelected body with enormous influence over the economy and the value of Americans' savings, the Fed is coming under increasing public scrutiny and deservedly so. GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney has pledged not to re-appoint Chairman Ben Bernanke if he wins. Richard Fisher and his allies at the Fed are a fine talent pool from which a new sound-money chairman might be drawn.

but that dollar saving is losing this time around so why?

Son I'm not an insecure groupie looking to just go vote for the winning team. I usually don't vote, but to know that he's on the same page as me on one of the few issues I deem critical; it's enough to make me go vote for him.

I'm not worried about corporations, the Fed is on the verge of putting a vast majority of American households even further in debt. All the Fed's policies will do is set into place another bubble, and the pop will be even bigger this time. They're building an illusion that our economy is stronger than it is and trying to encourage Americans to get back into the same credit/debt never-ending cycle that's been plaguing this country, that's the whole point.

I live in Miami and haven't been following any of our local politics.

And for whoever 1 starred this and sent me to red :pacspit: .....I'm in here trying to talk knowledge and you guys are catching feelings over a false idol. I know the cool/hip/young thing to do is to vote for Obama, but he's just going to continue to let the Fed do what they do. I don't think most of you realize how important it is to get Bernanke out of control at the Fed. Like I said earlier in this post, I'm nonpartisan and would never identity myself as left or right; but if one of these candidates promises to get Bernanke out, then I'm going to have to vote for him. The economy can't shift for the better with Bernanke there, we need an open market.

The man thinks 250K and up is middle class....I wouldn't vote for him if my life depended on it. I'm not asking for a "handout". We're one of the most powerful richest nations in the world and we don't have universal healthcare. Why? Because these fukks won't make cuts where they SHOULD be made? Military and the fukking SENSELESS drug war?

Voting for Romney? It's not even about being "for Obama". You having more money than me does'nt make you better than me! ESPECIALLY if you're white. I can't hide my ethnicity, I'm first generation, my family did'nt come from money, we had to earn our shyt but we did it because there were opportunities afforded for people like us. This man is AGAINST those opportunities. He believes that they are "entitlements".

You got the gall to enjoy the fruits of the "United States of America" and let freedom ring and amber waves of grain and all that horse shyt but you think food and healthcare are entitlements? For CITIZENS? The citizens that make up the god damn NATION? How disgusting is that?

fukk Mitt Romney and his whole fukking family, his sons, his cookie cutter ass average during all periods of her life wife, fukk Mormons, fukk Ayn Rand, and most of all motherfukk the Republican party you racist, bigoted, bible thumping, warmongering, hateful fukkS! YOU ARE PART OF WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD IN 2012!!!
