I don't even know anymore...
'Halo 4' will require at least 8GB flash drive, hard drive usage is suggested - St. Louis Console Game | Examiner.com
That's kinda fukked up for the folks with the 4gb's, or old school core systems.
It's a toss up when it comes to storage and the Xbox 360. This Examiner has a 20GB hard drive, and since 2008 hasn't had a single storage problem. Of course, arcade games that no long get played are prompted deleted, along with save files for games that have been finished long ago.
Some people are adamant that you need a large hard drive, say a sixty or a one twenty gigabite, but the cost of upgrading along with the hassle of switching your licenses over can be too much for most people to make the switch. A simple solution is to use some flash drives, a feature the Xbox 360 received a few years back, but for the upcoming "Halo 4" game, flash drives and twenty gigabite hard drives might not be enough.
Xbox.com is reporting that players should avoid using flash drives while playing "Halo 4", specifically it's multiplayer mode. The site says it's "highly recommended" that people use a hard drive for the most "optimal" gameplay experience.
The website didn't specifically state just what the optimal experience would be, but chances are it has something to do with all of the downloadable content "Halo 4" will be pushing out after it launches. The Spartan Ops mode, which is planned to have weekly missions along with weapons and vehicles for gamers to pick up.
With the content coming for "Halo 4" it only makes sense that people have plenty of hard drive space available. Not only do you need to factor in DLC, but also any patches or updates the game will need too, and while those typically don't take up a lot of space, you'll won't be able to put those updates on flash drives and switch them out as needed.
Now is the time to upgrade your hard drive on the cheap through Ebay or Amazon.com, as both sites normally have hard drives at decent prices regardless of what model Xbox 360 you have.
"Halo 4" is set to launch for the Xbox 360 on November 6th, 2012.
