This is gonna be really interesting times for ethiopia, things can go either way...

will another tigray highlander take power and continue from where melez left off at?

will the amarahas make an epic comeback since they always have been the ruling party?

or will the oppressed largest ethnic group in the horn of africa, the 40 million strong Oromos take the throne for the first time in history?

How about neither?

This tribal view of politics is archaic... let someone who wants to build Ethiopia for all Ethiopian take power instead

quick question guys, cuz this has always baffled me

how do the Tigray run the country? if they dont have the numbers, and it seems they dont have an external base of support?

is it historical reasons a la the sunni in Iraq?

in Afghanistan, the Pashtuns are squeezed out by the barrel of the worlds greatest army...

whats the deal?

and isnt both afewerki and zenawi tigre? :mindblown:

they're cousins... they were both based in Somalia in the 1980s

And those Tigray nikkas just got things on lock after 1991. The Oromo are by far the largest group in the Horn of Africa but they stay divided
