Pops is asking me to look for a BD player for him but all he does is watch bootlegs. Do i need to just go ahead and let him know that he needs to keep that DVD player if he just gonna watch bootleg shyt?

And no he cant stream a damn thing, so thats not an option. I just got him to stop clicking on bullshyt ads.

You need to be more specific, what kind of bootlegs? But I think you should get him a Blu-ray player, regardless. It's 2013, you can buy a basic Blu-ray player for under $50.

I thought Blu-rays play DVD's though?

Apparently Blu Ray players are being updated with some software called Cinavia which cuts out the audio of bootlegs. Search the net for Cinavia and you will see tons of hits for people with PS3s who are pissed.

Do they even sell bootleg Blu-ray? I would just get a WD TV, get an external hard drive, download utorrent and call it a day.
