So do I need to watch Daredevil before Jessica Jones?

Been trying to catch up on the Marvel TV's shows. I already caught up with AOS and Agent Carter. I was about to start watching Daredevil but Jessica Jones dropped so I downloaded it.

yes, because the marvel universe is so dense and the characters and plot lines are so complex and hard to follow . I watched daredevil 4 times now... picking up new stuff every time i watch it.

If you're trying to catch up anyway, then imo better to watch daredevil first. there's a tiny character overlap and references you might wanna absorb in daredevil first...

There's one direct connection to Daredevil but it isn't plot related. You can watch Jessica Jones and watch Daredevil after and not have to worry about having missed anything.

DD/JJ isn't really connected to AOS/Agent Carter at all besides the fact that they're Marvel

JJ doesn't reference DD but someone from DD appears in an episode, that's pretty much it
