If you think about it, working out while fasting your body is attacking the fat already in your body, not the food you just ingested so you will be leaning out. But since you're also hitting all your macros after you workout you will be making gains AND leaning.

Why wouldn't this be true? Am I missing something here? :ohhh:

your body will catabolize muscle before it attacks fat unless you have adequate protein intake.

Sounds good in theory.

In reality, there's spill over from the overeating period that would negate the fat burning effects from the fasting period. To even get closed to what you talk about in the OP, you're gonna have to start off extremely shredded for the best possible nutrient partitioning.

Bulking and staying about the same leanness is possible. Hard to do but possible. Nutrition, training and cardio would have to be on point though plus it takes a lot longer than traditional bulks.

But bulking and losing a decent amount of body fat isn't really possible unless you have test levels from Mt. Olympus.

The proof is in the puddin, aka in my body breh :manny:

I'm leanin and increasin weight each week. :umad:

just because you're losing weight and getting stronger while on a particular meal timing/frequency protocol does not mean that this protocol is the reason that you're losing weight and getting stronger.

Meal frequency and timing does not matter in regards to body composition. Sounds good, but the science is not there to support it.
